11/18/2009 UPDATE

Claremont Graduate University will be accepting applications after December 6, 2009 to live in the student apartments for the Spring semester.  Rooms in the shared units are available at this time. These units are two-bedroom, one bath or three-bedroom, two baths.  Please see floor plans “C” and “E” on this web site.  Both of these plans have large, full kitchens, each with a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and lots of cupboard space. Breakfast table and chairs are provided.  Each individual room is beautifully furnished with a desk, two-position padded chair, bookcase, dresser and nightstand.  Roommates are randomly assigned by the Housing Department, so Tenants do not have to find a roommate to share the apartment.

All information must be completely filled in and all applications must be accompanied by a $50 application fee.  Assigned Tenants will be notified and their $50 fee will go toward the apartment security deposit, which is $500. Tenants who are assigned and decide not to take the apartment will forfeit the application fee.

The Claremont Graduate University Apartments opened in August 2008.  They are located at 1415, 1425, 1435, 1445 and 1455 N. College Ave.  The five buildings are gated, furnished, except beds, and all have kitchens or kitchenettes.  There are laundry facilities, bike storage and a beautiful Community Room.  They are located just north of the School of Theology, south of Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, south-east of the Claremont Golf Course.  They are within easy walking and biking distance to CGU and all of the Claremont Colleges, Wolf’s Market and the Claremont Village.
