VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Too busy to commit to a semester-long job but still want to be a part of the QRC?  Consider volunteering to help out with events, activism, panels, etc.  Whether you have an event idea and need help bringing it to fruition or you just want to help out with current programming, please email Joshua.nelson@pomona.edu and say you are interested in volunteering.  Below are two standing committees, one in the fall and one in the spring:

National LGBT History Month (October) and National Coming Out Day Committee

Jump right into the new year by signing up to help plan parties, speakers, panels, workshops and more as a part of the QRC volunteer committee that puts together events to help celebrate National LGBT History Month!  Volunteers needed as soon as the school year begins.

GAYpril and National Day of Silence Committee

This committee starts up at the beginning of second semester and plans a month-long celebration, GAYpril, including the National Day of Silence.  The rainbow sky’s the limit to what we can do!  Back from abroad?  Didn’t get very involved last semester?  This is a chance to (re)connect with other queer and allied students.
