As accepting and wonderful as the Claremont Colleges are for LGBT students, faculty and staff, there will be those ignorant or malicious individuals who find their way in to our community. However, acts of hate, vandalism or discrimination based on actual or perceived gender identity or sexual orientation are not acceptable and will not be tolerated by the Claremont Colleges administration.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of a bias-related incident or hate-crime, I strongly encourage you to report it. You can report it anonymously using the form below, which will be sent directly to Josh Nelson, Coordinator of the Queer Resource Center. Once received, he will pass it on to the appropriate administrators from the campus on which the incident happened for further action. The incident will be permanently documented and thereby help the QRC track the number and types of incidents. This information can then help steer the development of programs to help decrease the negative behavior.
