PLUMBING & HEATING SHOP

The Plumbing & Heating Shop is responsible for maintenance and repair of potable, industrial and purified water systems, and hydronic and steam boilers providing heating and domestic hot water.

The Plumbing & Heating Shop provides the following services:

• Repair and installation of storm and sanitary drainage systems
• Licensed backflow prevention testing, repair and certification
• Repair of steam, gas and distilled water lines, and replacement of underground water and sewer pipes
• Maintenance and repair of laboratory plumbing systems; drains, fixtures, and plumbing components such as tanks, valves, traps, exchangers and water heaters
• Maintenance and repair of miscellaneous kitchen equipment
• Pump repair and replacement
• Installation of boiler and control systems
• Boiler preventative maintenance and repair
• Hydronic heating systems maintenance and repair
• Chemical treatment and water softener service
• Swimming pool maintenance

The Plumbing & Heating shop also provides miscellaneous welding and fabrication, fire extinguisher service and asbestos surveying testing and abatement.
