If I skip a message, will it be deleted?
No. You may skip a message by pressing the "#" key. Any message you skip remains available for your later review.
What is the "reply" feature?
After listening to a message, if you know the caller also has a mailbox, you may press "8" to reply to the message before you delete it. "Reply" will put you into the callers mailbox. You do not have to dial their extension and talk to them.
What are "prompt" levels?
Prompts are how the voice mail system communicates with you. They tell you what your choices are or give you explanations about the system. Standard prompts give detailed explanations, extended prompts are more detailed, and rapid prompts are brief. As you become more familiar with voice mail, you will often know what to do without having the system prompt you. When you reach this level, you may want to select "rapid" prompt, this will get you through the system quickly.
