Feature Keys
Feature + 1 - Turns microphone on and off. Indicator light will be lit when microphone is on. Indicator light will go off when microphone is off. "MIC" may be displayed on the screen. If "MIC" is displayed and is flashing, use either option of pressing the soft key below the display to turn the microphone off or press "Feature 1" again to toggle off.
Feature + 2 - Adjusts the receiver volume of the handset to either large or small. The setting will display briefly in the screen.
Feature + 3 - Selects ringer tone. Four ringer tones are available. The selected tone will ring when "Feature 3" is pressed. Lift the handset to cancel the ring.
Feature + 4 - Adjusts transmission and receiving volume in the handset to either large or small. The setting will display briefly in the screen.
Feature + 5 - Activates hands-free option and displays setting briefly in the screen. The hands-free feature must be active to use the phone with the microphone and speaker and without the handset.
Feature + 6 - Deactivates hands-free feature and displays setting briefly in the screen. The phone may not be used as a hands-free phone when the hands-free feature is deactivated.
Feature + 7 - Turns call indicator lamp on or off and displays setting briefly on the screen. If indicator is off, the indicator light in the upper right hand corner of the phone will not flash when the phone is ringing. The indicator light beneath the extension will flash when the phone is ringing.
