Position Summary: This position reports to and provides support to the Vice President, Treasurer and Director of Financial Services and facilitates business and financial services for CUC.

Essential Functions:
Coordinate preparation of annual budget.
Monitor financial operating results.
Develop and implements financial reports.
Assist Vice President/ Treasurer in developing and maintaining financial forecasts for operating budgets and reserve funds.
Provide support to Directors and other CUC personnel.
Establish and maintains internal control procedures.
Work with individual services to transition business processes.
Monitor all financial transactions and reports.
Oversee administration for CUC procurement card program, and provide administrative support for program to institutions participating.

Establish and maintain a monitoring processing for quality service.

Requirements:

Position Summary: This position reports to the Director of Student Health and Counseling Services and is responsible for ensuring quality medical services to students of the Claremont Colleges.
Position Type and Compensation: This is an exempt, full-time, benefits eligible, ten-month position, (August - May). Salary commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.
Essential Functions: The Senior Staff Physician is responsible for providing out-patient primary medical care to Student Health Services patients. The Senior Staff Physician is also responsible for medical leadership to a staff of 2 full-time physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, 1 registered nurse and 4 medical assistants, as well as oversight of an x-ray and laboratory personnel. The Senior Staff Physician also works closely with the Director of Student Health and Counseling Services to ensure coordination between front office staff and medical personnel as well as with the offices of Health Education Outreach, Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services and the Deans of Students at The Claremont Colleges.
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
California Medical License
Current CPR training
Continuing medical education classes
Eligible to provide supervision for limited license x-ray technician and CLIA waived lab.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Position Summary: Claremont University Consortium invites applications for an advanced practice nurse who provides holistic care in the areas of physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of health related problems to college students within the framework of authorized policies and protocols. The nurse practitioner collaborates with the other nurse practitioner staff and Senior Staff Physician to augment medical services provided by the physician staff.
Position Type and Compensation: This is an exempt, part-time, nine-month position. Salary commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrated successful experience in health education and health promotion activities
Experience with primary care including the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute medical problems, including minor injuries. Familiarity with age appropriate examinations, immunizations and standard of care practices
Proficiency with word-processing software such as Microsoft operating systems, internet and email usage.
Familiarity with FERPA and HIPPA requirements.
Team oriented with the ability to flexibly manage multiple, competing tasks and priorities in coordination with the fellow practitioners, front office staff and patients.

Requirements:

Determine the sequence of operations required to maintain, repair, and adjust commercial refrigeration equipment.
Perform periodic or factory recommended annual and quarterly maintenance inspections.
Inspect and examine malfunctioning units.
Adjust and calibrate mechanical, electric and electronic controls.
Assist in installation of major new refrigeration systems.
Be cognizant of OSHA, CAL OSHA, EPA and other regulatory safety rules and insure personnel compliance.
Operate as lead journey person on large projects using blueprints, sketches, mechanical drawings, specifications and other related technical data.
A thorough understanding of refrigeration thermodynamic and psychometric principles is required.

Position Summary: This position reports directly to the Electric Shop Supervisor and is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
Position Type and Compensation: This is a temporary, non-exempt, full time, non-benefits eligible. Salary: $21.25 per hour.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot electrical problems by locating and determining electrical malfunction using test instruments such as ammeter, multimeter, circuit tracer, etc.
Repair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burnt out elements and fuses, bypassing or replacing defective wiring, cleaning and troubleshooting motors and controls, and replacing fixture ballasts.
Test electrical equipment such as motors and heaters for safety and efficiency.
Repair all types of small appliances.
Install fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment.
Install minor new circuits in existing buildings and/or alterations on addition projects.
Inspect circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repair or rewire system according to building codes and safety regulations.
Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment.
Other work in general category of Physical Plant Maintenance, repair and alterations and assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
A minimum of three years verifiable experience demonstrating the ability to apply the techniques of the craft.
Possess a current California State Electrician Certificate.
Availability for overtime work and pager for on-call duty. Be able to be contacted by telephone during non-working hours.
Preferences:
Applicants who have successfully completed Vocational/Trade or College courses.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Be cognizant of OSHA, CA OSHA and other regulatory safety rules and insure personnel compliance therewith in conductance of work assigned.
Be able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, maintenance manuals and specifications. Troubleshoot existing installation and install new electrical systems based on this information.
Ability to bend and install wire-mold, MET, rigid conduit.
Knowledge and understanding of the National Electric Code.
Climb ladders, crawl in attics and under buildings, lift and carry heavy equipment, be able to bend, stoop and work in uncomfortable positions. Physically capable of working under all weather conditions. Physically able to climb light poles of heights of 75’ for repairs. Must have and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and be insurable under the Claremont Colleges insurance.
