Who we are. What we do.
Claremont University Consortium has two IT organizations:
- TCC IT Shared Services (TCC IT) provides IT services to The Claremont Colleges.
- CUC IT provides IT support to other CUC departments.
TCC IT is a new organization within CUC dedicated to providing common IT services to The Claremont Colleges with a strong focus on selected IT services that are mission critical. TCC IT’s first service offering will be networking as it assumes operational responsibility for four of the seven college networks plus responsibility for the colleges’ shared Internet connectivity. Additional services will be added over the next few years as they are discussed by The Claremont Colleges IT governance structure. Some former CUC IT services such as the colleges’ phone system will transition to TCC IT.
CUC IT ensures that CUC staff have solid IT infrastructure, resources and tools to support their day-to-day work. This includes desktop, multimedia, and applications support. Supported applications range from desktop apps such as Microsoft Office through large systems such as Titanium, OnBase, and Workday.
