Each Thursday, more than a hundred students, college faculty and staff, and community friends meet for a lunch featuring international cuisine and a program planned by international students. These "Lunch and Conversations" offer unique opportunities to meet people from all over the world and to better understand our diverse cultures, values, and economic and political systems. Fall Banquet. Students from around the world produce a global feast of food and entertainment for 500 guests. Banquet takes place each Fall in November.
United Nations Day Celebration. An event honoring the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations on October 24. I-Place honors UN Day with a special Thursday Lunch & Conversation. Other Programs and Activities: (See upcoming events) |
