  • For the recruitment and during the search...
      1. Recommends, drafts, and prices advertising
      2. Posts job in recruiting sources
      3. Designs and sends out flyers for recruiting ‘blitzing’
      4. Receives (and pre-screens if preferred), acknowledges, and track applications
      5. Submits applications to you
      1. Authorize payment for advertising
      2. Receive and review submitted applicants materials
      3. Evaluates applicants to identify who will be interviewed
  • When the qualified candidates are identified...
      1. Provides guidance on interview questions
      2. Reviews interview questions
      3. Provides guidance on reference checks (i.e. questions to ask, recordkeeping) and assists with conducting reference checks if necessary
      1. Notifiy HR staff when you have identified candidates to interview
      2. Review interview questions with HR staff
      3. Interview candidates
      4. Conduct reference checks and asks HR staff for assistance if necessary
  • When you've made a decision on who you want...
      1. Sends you the appropriate offer letter template
      2. Consults with you on the offer letter

  • When the offer has been made...
      1. Submits authorizations for background check if requested
      2. Receives results of background check
      3. Prepares correspondence to applicants who were not selected for you to mail
      4. Evaluates recruitment strategy
      1. Complete applicant data form and submit it to HR staff
      2. Return all applications to HR
      3. Mail prepared correspondence to applicants who were not selected
  • For the New Hire...
      1. Has employee complete new hire paperwork
      2. Schedules and conducts new hire orientation
      3. Enters employee data and submits paperwork to payroll
      4. Helps prepare any SPAs, if necessary
      1. Complete a PAF and submit it to HR
      2. Schedule the start date and time with employee
      3. Schedule benefits orientation (see HR staff for dates)
      4. Orient employee to department
