From the minute I stepped foot on campus, CLSA has been my home away from home. The office staff has always been encouraging in all of my educational pursuits, and I have yet to find a frown on their faces. The services CLSA provides have been invaluable to me throughout my college career and now that I am on my way out, I thank them for all the hard work that they put in so that Latino students at the Claremont Colleges can have a safe environment for any activities they wish to pursue.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to work at a place where we promote the advancement of other Latino students and it’s a place that has become a second home to me and I couldn’t be happier to work here."

You can find me at CLSA working, studying, playing with mariachis, or using the Resource Center's fellowship and graduate school information. Everyone should take advantage of all the great resources available here, and meet the funny office assistants!!

Viva las  mujeres  Latinas!  CLSA  is a space  for activism, poetry and community empowerments.  Many thanks to all the wonderful, sweet people that are always there to help me endure the college doldrums.

CLSA offers great opportunities to study, relax, and meet students from the other Claremont Colleges.  I personally have enjoyed all the snacks during finals; it's nice to have a place to go to distress even if it's just for a little while. :)

College has been a wonderful experience for me so far.  I am enjoying my classes, especially the sociology classes, and I love meeting new people to study with, hang out with, attend events with, etc.  I also love working at CLSA because Ernie, Maria, and Hugo are always so kind, and they will always be here to help you, whether it be with work or with school.
