Adele Bergstrom Vuong started in the position of Business Manager and Budget Administrator on August 24, 2009.
Ms. Vuong oversees the Business Affairs Office which supports all CUC departments in various business processes, budgeting, accounting, finance, monitoring and reporting functions. She provides assistance to the Vice President, Treasurer and Director of Financial Services in a broad range of organizational initiatives. She also serves on the Strategic Planning Committee.
Prior to joining CUC, Ms. Vuong worked in a supervisory role at a large national public accounting firm. She specialized in auditing nonprofit, governmental and service clients at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP’s Pasadena office.
Ms. Vuong is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Economics-Accounting with the Leadership Studies Sequence. As an alumna of The Claremont Colleges, she enjoys being back on campus — now as an administrator.
In addition, Ms. Vuong represents CUC as a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). She is an active member of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce, Claremont Young Professionals, and serves as Class Representative on the Polytechnic School Alumni Association. Ms. Vuong is a current Editorial Board member of the Leadership Review, a quarterly online journal published by the Kravis Leadership Institute of Claremont McKenna College. She is a former board member for the KCET Community Advisory Board.
