Tim Morrison has served in a number of positions since joining the CUC in 1986 as Director of the CUC Facilities Department. From 1990 until 2000, he also served as Director of Facilities for Claremont Graduate School. As Director of Facilities, he was responsible for managing all facilities and building services including maintenance and repairs and overseeing the renovation and construction projects for CUC and CGU. The CUC Facilities Department provided custodial and grounds services for both the CUC and CGU campuses. In 1994, he was appointed the Director of Bridges Auditorium, a 2,500 seat concert hall for The Claremont Colleges and served in this role until 2008, in addition to managing the CUC Facilities Department. As Director of Bridges Auditorium he managed the auditorium’s general operations, contracting for concerts, shows, speakers, community rental events and graduations, the box office and the technical production services. In June 2008, he was promoted to Director of Construction Management and Facilities Planning. In January 2009, he was promoted to Associate Vice President for Facilities Management and Planning overseeing the Central Facilities Department, Real Estate and Housing Department, Environmental Health and Safety Department, Construction Management Department, and CUC land and facilities planning. He was named Vice President for Facilities Management and Planning in February 2010.
Mr. Morrison has a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. Prior to his positions at CUC, he was Coordinator of Technical Services at the University of Northern Iowa. He is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Society of College and University Planners, APPA Leadership in Educational Facilities and Pacific Coast APPA. He serves on the Board of Directors for Claremont Golf Course, Inc. as Secretary, and as an Advisor to the Board of Trustees for Inland Pacific Ballet.
