Join us in welcoming two new faces to our Hillel staff!
Our new Claremont Jewish Chaplain and Hillel Director is Rabbi Daveen Litwin. Rabbi Litwin was ordained at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She comes to the Claremont Colleges with over nine years experience in campus work having served as the Hillel Director at the University of Kansas and most recently as the Campus Rabbi at Grinnell College. In addition, Rabbi Litwin was the spiritual leader of congregations in Northampton, Massachusetts and Toronto, Canada. She loves working with students and is thrilled to be here as the Chaplain and Hillel Director of the Claremont Colleges.
Also new to the staff is Ari Feldman, our Program Director. Ari just finished two years with Teach For America in Phoenix as a high school English teacher. Before joining TFA, he was at USC, where he was active in Hillel, serving as Vice President of 'SC Students for Israel and Hillel President.
